Sachs is a world leader in economics, focusing on sustainable development, economic development and the fight against poverty. He has had a very esteemed career, with roles including the former director of The Earth Institute at Columbia Director, a former Special Advisor to the UN Secretary General and current President of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network.
